Michael Conroy
Chief Executive Officer

Michael became Chief Executive of TPN in September 2025. He is a highly experienced leader in UK and European logistics, express freight distribution, and eCommerce, with a proven track record of advancing growth businesses.

Michael’s approach is underpinned by inspiring and developing people skills, leveraging digital platforms, prioritising technology and innovation to drive efficiency and expedite growth. He is a strong and strategic leader, with the ability to mentor and inspire management teams and pioneer innovative solutions thanks to a constant desire for improvement.

Michael has held previous roles including MD of ANC Express and FedEx SCS. He was CEO of Palletforce, where he grew the business from £20m to £200m turnover during his successful 13-year tenure, CEO of Kinaxia Logistics and CEO of Networks for Culina Group.

Emma Aherne
Director

Emma joined TPN as Commercial Director in July 2024, bringing over a decade of expertise in logistics, business development, and commercial strategy. With extensive experience in the pallet and parcel sector, Emma has held key leadership roles across both owned operations and corporate divisions, giving her a deep understanding of network dynamics and operational efficiencies. Emma, an Executive MBA graduate and Chartered Manager (CMgr FCMI), is driven by a passion for strategic leadership, strengthening partnerships, and continuous improvement.

Paul Harding
Director
Paul joined TPN as Operations Director in December 2023. He has held key senior roles and held various positions on the operating boards for both Eddie Stobart and Great Bear Distribution. Before joining the Culina Group, Paul worked for both Kuehne + Nagel and Scottish & Newcastle plc in General Manager roles within the Contract Drinks Logistics businesses. Paul brings a wealth of experience to TPN with over 25 years’ experience within the transport and warehousing sector.
Renier Pretorius
IT Director

Renier joined TPN (as part of Culina Group) as Group IT Director in January 2023. With over 20 years’ experience in technology leadership across logistics, retail, and supply chain, he has held senior roles at Unipart Logistics, Xercise4Less, WHSmith, and Avis Budget Group. Renier specialises in IT strategy and digital transformation having led large teams in delivering innovative solutions and modernising critical systems. His expertise ensures TPN remains a technology leader in the pallet network sector.

Michael Kirk
Head of Network Development

Mike Kirk joined TPN in 2019, bringing with him over a decade of logistics experience and a deep understanding of network dynamics. His career spans senior leadership roles across both PLC and SME organisations within the parcel and pallet sectors, where he developed extensive expertise in supply chain management, strategic growth, and collaborative network operations. As Head of Product Innovation, Mike is responsible for defining and delivering the Connect, EPOD, and accessories business strategy, ensuring alignment with TPN’s broader goals, delivering scalable, partner-focused solutions across the network of 140+ depots and direct clients.

Nick Shotton
Head of Commercial
Nick joined TPN as Commercial Services manager in June 2018 bringing 30 years’ experience of working within the transport and logistics sector. Nick has held key operational and commercial roles within both international PLCs and SMEs, with experience of removals, cash logistics, parcels and pallet networks. As Head of Commercial, Nick works closely with our Partners, delivering tailored commercial solutions that drive success while adapting to the evolving demands of the network and market.
Emily Taylor
Head of Liability

Emily joined TPN in November 2007 as a Claims Administrator. Over the past 18 years, she has developed extensive expertise in liability and gained a deep understanding of all aspects of the pallet network industry. Having grown and progressed with TPN, Emily now leads as Head of Liability, committed to delivering the highest standard of service to our Partners and ensuring TPN remains a leader in the sector.

Lee Noble
Head of Operational Excellence

Lee has been part of the Culina group since 2010, holding several key roles primarily focused on servicing large blue-chip customers. In 2019, Lee joined TPN to support and establish the owned operations function in Stockton and Dagenham. He is an active part of our hub operations team, driving initiatives aimed at enhancing Partner experience. With over 30 years of experience in logistics and warehousing, Lee brings a wealth of industry knowledge gained from working with large industry leading organisations, as
well as various SME operations. His deep understanding of operational excellence and customer service continues to be a driving force behind our business strategy.

Ben Jackson
Hub Manager

Ben became part of the TPN team in October 2016, starting as an unlicensed operative with a strong determination to grow within the business. He quickly earned his forklift license, before taking on increasing responsibility within the Operations team.

He has held multiple key roles, gaining hands-on experience across both the day and night operation. With 20 years of experience in the pallet network sector, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and reliability to TPN.

Sarah Besant
Network Service Manager
Sarah joined TPN as Operations Coordinator in September 2013. Over her 11 years at TPN, she has gained extensive knowledge and understanding of the pallet network. Sarah now leads the Network Customer Services department, aiming to deliver the best support and service for both customers and network partners. Prior to her role at TPN, Sarah worked in various industries, bringing a well-rounded dynamic of support to our customers.
