Mark joined TPN in 2014 as the Commercial Director following 16 years as the Managing Director of a longstanding TPN Partner company. Mark has extensive experience from an operational Depot perspective, and has a passion for service excellence and communication.
In January 2015, Mark became the Managing Director of TPN. With a keen interest in technology and systems, Mark has led the Network’s significant development and growth and has a far reaching vision for its ongoing evolution.
Mark joined TPN in 2008 as a Shift Manager and has progressed into his current role through understanding and working with the network. He has gained extensive experience within the distribution sector in a variety of positions within the industry.
Mark’s ethos of customer satisfaction first time drives him to oversee the network in order that customers receive a service level that is second to none.
Allen joined in March 2020 as Commercial Director having spent over 30 years in the transport and warehousing sector. He has a keen interest in engineering.
Allen has held varied operational and commercial roles within the industry, most recently as MD of a leading UK haulier.
Allen brings valuable knowledge and practical experience to the business and is committed to continuous improvement within the industry.
Paul joined TPN in December 2008 as Financial Controller (FD Designate). He was appointed to the Board as Company Secretary in 2010 and more recently to the position of Finance Director. He has over 12 years experience within senior finance roles, predominately within distribution businesses in various sectors.
Paul is fully responsible for all aspects of TPN finance, interfacing with both TPN Partners as well as external stakeholders.
Paul is committed to a philosophy of continual improvement to ensure TPN processes are as efficient as possible.
Robert joined TPN in 2012 as Lead Developer and was tasked with building TPN with an internal development function capable of delivering TPN with up to date systems that matched the company’s quality ethos. In 2014 he stepped up to Director of IT role to take responsibility for all aspects of IT within TPN including development.
Robert has over 15 years of IT experience working in many varied fields including telecommunications, construction, public sector and financial services. Robert’s ethos is to use and create technology that can help the business grow and provide an excellent service to its Partners and customers.
Ian joined TPN in early 2014 to support the Network Development Team. With over 12 years’ experience in the pallet sector, Ian held key positions at a competitor pallet network, with the last seven years as General Manager of Network Operations.
Ian brings with him valuable knowledge and experience and shares the TPN ethos of best practise and most importantly, customer service. Ian’s knowledge and commitment will benefit the long term development of TPN and its Partners.
Mark joined TPN in January 2017 as part of the Network Development Team. Mark had 15 years’ prior experience within the logistics and IT industries across a range of managerial and operational roles. He embodies a trailer load of knowledge and experience and is a strong advocate of TPN's quality-first ethos. As Network Development Manager, he looks out for high quality companies which share TPN's values and principles and so may have the makings of great TPN Partners.
Nick joined TPN as Commercial Services manager in June 2018 bringing 30 years’ experience of working within the transport and logistics sector. Nick has held key operational and commercial roles within both international PLCs and SMEs, with experience of removals, cash logistics, parcels and pallet networks.
As part of the Commercial Services Team he helps Partners achieve their business goals.
Lynn joined TPN as HR Manager in 2007 bringing over 17 years’ experience of HR roles in various industries including distribution, retail, leisure and theatre. Lynn’s experience and knowledge helps drive TPN’s performance culture with a pragmatic HR strategy to support the continued growth of the business. With employee numbers tripling since Lynn joined TPN, her determination to create a great working environment is stronger than ever!
With 18 years’ experience in the pallet sector, many of them in operations, Steve Underwood has both a practical and legislative understanding of health and safety in Hub operations. As part of TPN’s commitment to ensuring that all staff and visitors coming to our Hub can complete their daily business without risk to health or welfare, Steve audits TPN’s policies and practices and has developed a progressive strategy for keeping TPN standards the best in the sector.
Kerry joined TPN in August 2019 as Network Developer as part of the Network Development & Commercial team. Kerry has over 20 years' experience within the pallet network and logistics sectors and has held key operational and commercial roles. She has extensive knowledge and experience. As part of her role in the Network Development team, she builds strong relationships with TPN Partners and helps to identify new prospects for the network.
Sue’s first career saw her perfect her golf handicap from 9 to 1 and, having played for England girls’ team and captained Yorkshire, she turned Pro at the age of 19. A fact we overlooked when we first invited her to our TPN Golf Day. However, logistics was her true calling and she has 19 years’ experience of palletised freight distribution both operationally and in sales. She has experience of four other pallet networks, and has held key roles in many logistics companies, most latterly working as sales director at TPN partner Hallam Express. Sue is an asset to TPN and the whole network.
