2 June 2021, Crawley, UK: Eezehaul Logistics has strengthened its management team by appointing ex-Prestons of Potto MD Allen Reesas MD, to work alongside current Directors, Jane Jones and Craig Wilson.
Allen Rees was formerly a general manager at Fagan and Whalley, and then MD at Prestons of Potto. His most recent appointment was as Commercial Director at TPN.
Rees says: “I enjoyed my time working with TPN’s 120 partners, but there is a definite satisfaction in going back to my roots running a transport operation. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to work with such a vibrant and strategically well-placed business.”
Jones will continue her role of Financial Director, which she has held for several years. As MD, she led the team through the twin challenges of Brexit and COVID. She will now assume a part-time position, focusing on finance, in order to fulfil family and other personal commitments.
Wilson has been with the business for over 13 years, working his way up from Evening Supervisor to Operations Director. He will now use his operational exertise to add value to Eezehaul’s customer experience, as he evolves into the role of Commercial Director over the coming months.
Eezehaul is a FORS Silver, full-service logistics operation near Gatwick. A founder Partner with TPN, it also offers warehousing, fulfilment, container management, dedicated haulage, same-day deliveries and ADR transport.
