WT Transport becomes Milton Keynes success story

Northampton-based general haulier WT Transport, a rapidly growing firm with over two decades of experience, has joined TPN to cover the Milton Keynes area.

MD Warren Tattersall says the company started in van transport but has gradually built its skills and its customer base to offer a full haulage solution. It has specialised in handling freight for blue chip customers, moving high-value goods for international 3PLs.

“We have grown rapidly but in a controlled manner and the time had come for us to add pallet services to our customer offering,” says Tattersall who will offer TPN services to all of his existing customers as well as companies within Milton Keynes.

“Joining TPN has fast-tracked us by six months,” he adds. “We expanded to the Brackmills Industrial Estate and already we are looking for new premises which will give us more space and warehousing.”

It has recently acquired two more vehicles, a Mercedes-Benz Axor 18-tonne curtainsider (similar to the one pictured) and a 44-tonne Mercedes-Benz Streamliner.

Tattersall says that the company’s success and strong growth is the result of “our focus on customer service and communication. I am also lucky in having an excellent team around me.”
