Experienced logistics manager Keith Flitton has become the latest key appointment to join TPN to support its ongoing growth strategy and business development.
Keith will be overseeing the day-to-day management of the multi-Hub network operation, and making sure that TPN’s quality first ethos is fulfilled, while ensuring that TPN’s Members’ needs are met. With a background in third-party logistics, gained working for companies such as Wincanton and Culina Logistics, Keith’s most recent job involved setting up retail giant Amazon’s South-West delivery network.
“It was a great experience and a lot of responsibility, but the downside of working for such large, developed companies is the limit to how much one can influence operations or culture,” says Keith. “What appeals to me about TPN is that it is a growing concern, and there is an opportunity to be an influential part of the company’s ongoing success story, as it evolves.”
He says his experience since coming to TPN has been very positive. “I’m very impressed by the teamwork and co-operation that exists within the Hub and the network as a whole. TPN is very much all about performance, and I’m looking forward to drawing on my experience and contributing as we go forward.”
Mark Kendall, operations director at TPN, says: “Keith will become a key member of our team and is a significant appointment for us. His wide experience and skills are exactly what we’re looking for, and we look forward to his positive impact within the business and the network as a whole. It’s an exciting time at TPN, and Keith is a great addition to our team.”
