TPN – THE Pallet Network has repeatedly won accolades and accreditations in 2017 for its delivery of outstanding service and high quality processes. Within the past three months, it has been a finalist in four awards and received its ISO 14 001 accreditation for environmental management.
These achievements follow last year’s ISO 9001 accreditation for quality, and the awarding of a BREEAM excellence rating for the Hub building and use, and a Planet Mark.
TPN, a finalist in the UK Warehousing Association’s awards in two categories, has also been shortlisted by The Logistics Awards 2017 for innovation and technical innovation. The selections reflect the revolutionary TPN XL service, which offers capacity managed and guaranteed delivery for unusual or bulky palletised freight; and the scope and success of the network’s IT system, TPN Connect. Connect gives full visibility of pallets to Member depots and customers right across the network. It means customers can input and track their own job right through to proof of delivery; and Member companies can operate more efficiently with an entire suite of commercial and transport management software.
“We invest a lot in making TPN the best network in the UK. That’s not just financial investment, but time, thought and constant review,†says MD Mark Duggan. “Awards and accreditations are a great validation but ultimately our judge is the customer and our service KPIs tell us we’re getting it right.â€
