Following the suggestion of TPN Member Tyneside Express, TPN – THE Pallet Network – will be running a new monthly charity drive.
Each Member company will pledge £10 a month to the TPN charity pot – guaranteeing more than £1,000 a month. On the same day each month a depot number will be drawn at random from the TPN Member list and the charity money will be given in full to that depot.
At least 50% of the donation must be given to a charity of the depot’s choice and the remaining amount can be spent on a reward for the Member’s TPN team in acknowledgement of the hard work, commitment and excellent service our local teams provide.
“It was a great suggestion by Tyneside Express because it allows us to do something fun as a network each month, which also achieves two important goals for us – saying thank you to local depots and committing a significant amount of money to charities throughout the country,” says MD Mark Duggan. “Many Members have preferred charities, either local to them, or inspired by issues which affect family, friends or staff. The winning team is free to give our combined donation wherever they believe it will do the most good.”
