TPN Awards 2017 celebrate the best of the UK’s top transport companies

The TPN Awards is our annual recognition of those Member companies who are deemed the best by their peers or by their performance records – both difficult accolades to win. This year’s winners have all achieved outstanding performance led by our Depot of the Year 2017, Kettering-based Lombard Express.

Regional Depots of the Year, as voted for by Members went to:

• North region: Dundee-based Alan Davie
• South Region: Portsmouth-based 2MV Logistics
• East Region are: Kettering-based Lombard Express
• West Region: Somerset-based Jays Transport (South West)

Other prestigious awards included:

Best New Member: Thame-based FS Distribution

Business Development Award: Northampton-based WT Transport

MRC Special Recognition Award: Kevin Gardner of HT Gardner Distribution

Outstanding Performance Recognition Certificates go to those companies achieving elite performance according to our KPI data and audits. The recipients all maintained a 99% average throughout 2016, setting a high-performance benchmark for the whole network.

• Express Logistics (Harrow)
• Rogers Transport
• B&T Hicks Transport
• FS Distribution

Of these outstanding performers we received nominations for the Bronze, Silver and Gold TPN Performance Awards. With such very high scores between all these depots, this was a very hard-won category. The winners were

• Bronze: Durham-based JSE Transport
• Silver: Ely-based Malco Freight
• Gold: Express Logistics (Harrow)

Some individuals and teams within the network also merited congratulation. The TPN Night Hub and Katie Edwards of Andy Lee Transport won Outstanding Contribution Awards, and Jenny Humphreys of Hi-Speed Services won the Network Rising Star Award.
