Former transport principal Mark Duggan has become MD to take TPN into its next stage of growth.
TPN – The Pallet Network – has moved the principal of one of its longest standing Member companies into the position of managing director as part of a strategic succession plan for the business.
Former MD Adam Leonard has progressed to CEO of the company. He says: “Mark came on board in 2014 as commercial director with a view to succeeding me. I will remain sufficiently involved to offer continuity but there could not be a better candidate than Mark to move TPN through its next stage of growth.”
Duggan has extensive experience in transport having been MD of highly successful haulier Eezehaul for 16 years. He also has extensive experience from outside the sector.
“I am very pleased to be stepping up to the helm of a network I joined early in its life, and believe in strongly,” says Duggan. “Adam has created a network which delivers excellence and has long-term, stable and successful relationships with its Members. The pallet network market has now matured and my job is to facilitate the next wave of growth and development.”
Duggan says that he is actively recruiting well-established and successful regional transport firms to complement TPN’s 100+ strong Membership. “As commercial director I brought in six excellent haulage firms who had never been in a network before and I intend to continue attracting and keeping the very best Members so our offering to the marketplace remains sustainable and top quality.”
