Station Couriers wins judges’ commendation at Powys Business Awards

Powys-based TPN Member Station Couriers dazzled the judges of this year’s Powys Business Awards – despite not meeting the specific criteria for any of the business awards. The awards judges visited Station Couriers and were so wowed by the company’s performance, care for employees and participation in its community, that they gave it their Judges’ Award.

The judges said the company is “really special”.

“The business is successful, it is growing, and it is employing more people each year. The finances are well managed, the equipment is up to date. [Staff are] happy and fulfilled in their roles. This business is exemplary as an employer, as a supplier, as a customer, and as a member of its community,” the judges noted.

They were also impressed with Station Couriers’ considerable support for charities and it’s culture of inclusion. “It is a real family, and we are sure this approach and culture is what has made this business so successful,” they said.
