Solent Plastics is a leading UK importer and exporter of plastic storage solutions, with an 800-product range which sells to the military, aerospace, retail, education, warehousing and many other sectors. It relies upon Riva South to handle its hundreds of deliveries each week, to both end-users and commercial customers.

“We’ve worked with Riva for 10 years, our companies growing side by side,” says director James Butcher. “We deliver to hundreds of customers all over the country. We send out a full trailer a day and Riva’s service means I can forget about them as soon as they leave.”

Working with TPN has also given Solent an efficiency boost with TPN Connect. “We use the TPN software in-house to input jobs, print our own labels, track our pallets and check proof of delivery. It’s better for Riva but it’s also much faster and more efficient for us. We can answer customer queries directly and instantly.”

Butcher says the TPN service is very cost-effective, particularly given the level of software support and service. “We have had several record-breaking months in terms of pallet deliveries and, thanks to Riva, they’ve all arrived in tact and on time. We’re not the biggest supplier but, with TPN’s help, we think we are the most efficient.”
