Landscaping made easy with Roy Fox

East Yorkshire-based landscaping company Kelkay has a nationwide base of residential customers and garden centres for its aggregates, paving and water features. Customers book online with its many retailer outlets and Kelkay delivers the products through local TPN Member Roy Fox Transport.

The products are heavy and Kelkay rings all customers to check access requirements and to ensure they understand the size of truck and method of tail-lift kerbside delivery. It has used Roy Fox for approximately 14 months.

“We have very few problems given that we ship 200-plus pallets a week, and no complaints about Roy Fox Transport. They try their very best for us and have helped us out of jams on a few occasions,” says Gavin Jackson, Kelkay transport manager.

Orders to be shipped that day are collated by noon and collected at 3pm but Jackson admits things can be hectic when busy. “The Roy Fox team is always amicable on the odd occasion we run a little late,” he says.

Roy Fox Transport offers a full range of haulage services, including hazchem and European Transport as well as pallet distribution through TPN.
