Hi Speed Services’ Rugby depot has moved into new premises just off Junction 1 of the M6. With 20,000 sq ft of storage space, the company says this will allow it to grow in line with customer demand.
Director Jamie Boazman explains: “We already work with lots of pallet and dedicated delivery customers across a wide variety of freight in and across the Midlands from our Rugby depot. Having extra warehousing space will allow us to do more order fulfilment and pick and pack on site as well as meeting more volume demand as seasonal customers grow busier.â€
Hi Speed also has two other depots in Aldershot and Camberley.
“We have a ‘never say no’ approach to customer service. It’s our job to deliver what you want, when you want and work out an efficient and cost-effective way of doing it. The Pallet Network gives us a great advantage in delivering on this promise,†says Boazman.
The company puts between 50 and 80 pallets into the network each night.
Its ‘never say no’ policy came to the fore recently for charity Phylliss Tuckwell which offers hospice care to patients in Surrey and North East Hampshire. The charity had been gifted furniture by retailer John Lewis but had no means of transporting it.
Business development manager Martin Banning says: “The charity contacted us for a quote but once we realised what it was for, we transported it all for free from Milton Keynes to Farnham. We are only too happy to help people doing such important work in the community.â€
Hi Speed would like to invite any company looking for storage in the Midlands to call Jamie Boazman on 0800 0565 559.
