FS Distribution is all geared up for 2017

Thame-based FS Distribution has planned a new phase of growth in 2017, following its successful integration into the TPN network in August of last year.

The 35-year-old company, which originally manufactured and distributed horseshoes, has grown into a full-service logistics operation. It offers storage, pick and pack and contract distribution to a range of companies in the Oxfordshire area and nationally.

FS Distribution also has expertise in event stand and vehicle design, construction and operation. This speciality developed out of its one-time focus on the event and marketing industry, for which it transported a wide range of promotional materials.

The family-owned business now covers part of the HP postcodes for TPN, the UK’s leading pallet network. This has allowed it to add a vital cost-effective and high-quality pallet solution to its range of logistics offerings.

MD David Vernau says: “This marks an important stage in the evolution of FS Distribution as a company. We had a substantial fleet and warehousing facilities, and a comprehensive range of logistics services. Now we have partnered with TPN, we know we can complement and complete that range of services with pallet distribution.

“Our whole team is enjoying being a TPN depot, the support from the network and other members has been fantastic and we’re looking forward to growing our service offerings to our current and new clients!” he says.
