Food services company says national service excellent from Tyneside Express

Templeman Retailing supplies goods to the UK’s vending machine and food service industries including snacks, crisps and drinks. It uses its own fleet for local deliveries and TPN Member Tyneside Express Transport is its main contractor for its national transport.

“The service is excellent,” says MD Kevin Templeman. “The price is competitive, but there are cheaper providers out there. However there is no one who would offer the quality of service we receive from Tyneside Express and TPN.”

The company uses both overnight and economy services, but it guarantees its clients that if they place an order before 11am, it will be delivered the following day.

Gateshead-based Tyneside Express has provided national distribution and warehousing services for almost 20 years, with a full artic fleet and 30,000 sq ft of storage space. “We focus on offering reliable and cost-effective transport,” says MD Darren Casey. “TPN is an essential part of enabling cost-effective but excellent national distribution to our customers.”
