Liverpool-based Neil Lamont is currently refurbishing his house and establishing a small market trade since his recent return from Spain. He buys repeatedly from Milton Keynes-based supplier, partly because of the excellent service he says he receives from his local TPN depot.
When Neil Lamont goes online to buy goods, his choices are packed up and collected from the Milton Keynes outlet by long-time TPN Member JR Smith Transport. JR Smith trunks the pallets into the Hub in the Midlands and then taken on the final leg of their journey by Liverpool-based G Jenkins Transport.
“I’ve been buying general stock, furnishings, a refrigerator and I have more pallets booked to come tomorrow,” says Lamont. “I am very impressed with the TPN network. It is an excellent service. They collect what I’ve bought, they notify me it’s been collected, then the local agent, that’s G Jenkins Transport, always calls me to let me know when they are coming.”
The 69-year old has suffered from ill health recently and so appreciates the extra help the drivers provide. “They are always very helpful and take the pallet back for me,” he says.
G Jenkins Transport recently won best new Member at the TPN Awards 2016. Office administrator Paula Blair says: “It gives us great pleasure to know that Mr Lamont is happy with his deliveries and feels confident that he can order more stock knowing we’ll be there to make sure it gets to him intact.”
Mr Lamont told the world how happy he was with the service on twitter: “Pallet power at G Jenkins. 3rd delivery from you – you are professionalism personified. Office very efficient, delivery drivers soooo helpful. I can’t wait to do business with you again. Five stars all the way!”
