ETS keeps standards high for Driver CPC

TPN member ETS Distribution, which is an accredited training provider for the statutory continuous development programme Driver CPC, is continuing to offer training across the network to keep standards high.

The Driver CPC course has so far been undertaken by drivers at Eezehaul, TWE Haulage, TLP Group, Woods Haulage and 2MV Logistics.

Although the Driver CPC specifies 35 hours of training across five years, the quality of courses on the open market is mixed and ETS trainer Paul Gaffney says: “TPN values high standards as do we. We try to make the courses fun and engaging but also very valuable. Drivers learn to spot vehicle defects, improve safety and ensure they understand all their statutory responsibilities on the road.”
