TPN Teesside has a day shift position for a class 2 driver.
As one of our HGV drivers, you'll be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of palletised goods to a variety of customers from our depot in Teesside.
Some duties will involve:
- Loading and unloading the vehicle using a tail lift with pallet truck
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Confirming deliveries via electronic device
You'll be expected to always ensure:
- Vehicles are operated in accordance with legal and company requirements
- Current health and safety regulations and company procedures are adhered to
- Goods are delivered safely and securely
- Your vehicle is kept in good condition
This position requires the following:
- The correct category of driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- A valid driver qualification card (DQC)/ Driver CPC
- A valid digital tachograph card
- A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role, dealing with heavy goods
- Fluency in English
