AST Express invites customers to talk, tweet and friend

AST Express has launched a new internet and social media presence to allow customers to connect with them in whichever way they find easiest.

The company’s new website has an online booking system, to make placing jobs easier for customers. AST has also launched itself on twitter and facebook.

“Modern customers want to connect with you, access information, be kept in touch and sometimes just chat with you through lots of different channels today,” says general manager Paul Rodgers. “Twitter and facebook are also a lovely way of us sharing our customers’ success and seeing their news.”

AST has also refreshed much of its fleet over the past 12 months with three new Daf tractors, and five new trailers including three double-deckers. Two new Mercedes Luton-bodied vans for TPN collection and delivery are on order.
