AST Express has launched a new internet and social media presence to allow customers to connect with them in whichever way they find easiest.
The companyâ€™s new website has an online booking system, to make placing jobs easier for customers. AST has also launched itself on twitter and facebook.
â€œModern customers want to connect with you, access information, be kept in touch and sometimes just chat with you through lots of different channels today,â€ says general manager Paul Rodgers. â€œTwitter and facebook are also a lovely way of us sharing our customersâ€™ success and seeing their news.â€
AST has also refreshed much of its fleet over the past 12 months with three new Daf tractors, and five new trailers including three double-deckers. Two new Mercedes Luton-bodied vans for TPN collection and delivery are on order.
